State Championships

  Developmental Program athletes looking to qualify for national championships at today’s state championship, must have:
• Previously attended two USAG sanctioned competitions during the current season
• Must attend the 2023 Region 4 Championships in Davenport, IA on May 5-7, 2023
• Must achieve a total score as follows:

Elite Athletes
Elite Program athletes looking to qualify for national championships at today’s state championship, must have:

• Previously attended two USAG sanctioned competitions during the current season
• Must attend the 2023 Elite Challenge in Irving, TX on May 12-14 AND/OR the 2023 Region 4 Championships in Davenport, IA on May 5-7, 2023
• Must achieve a total score as follows in the qualifying round of competition:

Developmental Program athletes looking to move into a higher level in future seasons, under the guidance and approval of their personal coaches’ discretion, and per USAG DP Rules and Policies, need to achieve the following total score:

Awards will be presented on the awards podium (located on the arena floor facing the audience) immediately following the conclusion of each flight.

• Athletes should remain with their competition group in the athlete corral until the entire flight is done, and then proceed directly to awards stand as a group when directed by a judge.
• Athletes will be awarded medals according to their placement in their competition flight (regardless of state affiliation or the number of flights within their age group).
• Once all flights of each age group have competed within each level, athletes will be reorganized by overall placement within their respective states and be re-presented on the award stand for the announcement of state champions.
