USAG T&T State Championships

    Developmental Program athletes looking to qualify for national championships at today’s state championship, must have:
  • Previously attended two USAG sanctioned competitions during the current season
  • Must attend the 2022 Region 4 Championships in Peoria, IL on May 6-8, 2022
  • Must achieve a total score as follows:

Elite Athletes
Elite Program athletes looking to qualify for national championships at today’s state championship, must have:

  • Previously attended two USAG sanctioned competitions during the current season
  • Must attend the 2022 Elite Challenge in Irving, TX on April 22-24 AND/OR the 2022 Region 4 Championships in Peoria, IL on May 6-8, 2022
  • Must achieve a total score as follows in the qualifying round of competition:

Developmental Program athletes looking to move into a higher level in future seasons, under the guidance and approval of their personal coaches’ discretion, and per USAG DP Rules and Policies, need to achieve the following total score:

Please be advised that there are automated traffic cameras near and on the way to the meet venue, which will issue speeding tickets if you are going 11 mph or more over the posted speed limit. Download the maps here.

Cedar Rapids

  • I-380 North AND South lanes on the S-Curve through downtown Cedar Rapids with a posted speed limit of 55 mph
  • 1st Ave NE & 10th St NE with a posted speed limit of 30 mph

Le Claire (I-80)

  •  I-80 East AND West lanes on the Iowa side of the Mississippi River entering/leaving Iowa (right before/after the bridge) with a posted speed limit of 65 mph

Street Parking: 
Street parking is FREE downtown all weekend starting Friday at 6:00 p.m.

Ramp Parking:
The 5 Season’s Parking Ramp and Convention Center Ramps are across the street from the venue are attached via skyway (event ticket required for entry at these entry points). Ramp parking is free for the first hour and $0.75 for each additional hour.

Tickets are required for all spectators upon entry and re-entry. Spectators leaving the arena will need to scan out and scan back in upon re-entry using their ticket. All spectators must enter the area via the escalators in the box office lobby or via the skywalks connecting the parking ramps. 

All tickets are available through the CR Events Live Box Office at Alliant Energy Powerhouse.

  • $12 Adult
  • $10 Sr. Citizens (65+)
  • $5 Child (Ages 4-12)
  • FREE – Youth Age 3 and Under
Tickets may be pre-ordered online through Ticketmaster (convenience and service fees apply – these fees do NOT apply if purchased in-person at the box office.)

Floor access is only available to credentialed coaches, officials, volunteers and athletes.

Level 8+ Athletes and Coaches attending the general warm up session may enter the arena prior to 8:00 am through the hotel/valet entrance located on the ground level between the DoubleTree hotel and the Box Office / Convention Center.

All other athletes and coaches can access the competition floor via the stairs on NW and SW corners of the arena. Athlete should not come down to staging until their group has been called.

Shout outs and raffle basket tickets will also be available for purchase.

 

Awards will be presented on the awards podium (located on the arena floor facing the audience) immediately following the conclusion of each flight.

  • Athletes should remain with their competition group in the athlete corral until the entire flight is done, and then proceed directly to awards stand as a group when directed by a judge.
  • Athletes will be awarded medals according to their placement in their competition flight (regardless of state affiliation or the number of flights within their age group).
  • Once all flights of each age group have competed within each level, athletes will be reorganized by overall placement within their respective states and be re-presented on the award stand for the announcement of state champions.

Concessions will be available on the main concourse of the arena throughout the day. Outside food is not allowed in the arena.
